Why I Started Tattoing
From a young age, I have always being interested in art. From the age of 13, I fell in love with tattooing. After practicing with henna from 12, I then decided that tattooing was the dream career for me. Over the past years, I've been developing my tattoo and art skills to offer my expertise in my very own studio.

In an industry mostly dominated by males, men, women, young men and young women can feel uncomfortable or intimidated stepping into a studio that's heavily male dominated or open plan. Therefore, I created JA55 TATTOO with everyone in mind. I wanted to create a tattoo studio in Hull in which anyone and everyone can feel comfortable and safe stepping through my door into a closed off, private space.
